Howdy Brothers and Bitches,

I've got some sad news about the Finland gigs today. We're going to have to wait until the Summer of 2010 before Rhino Bucket rolls into the bowels of Helsinki. At the end of the day, despite some tremendous work by Pekka and Risto over in Finland, we just weren't able to pull the schedule together. I was really looking forward to playing there this time around but now I'm excited about going over there next summer and showing off Finland to the band when it's not 20 below 0 degrees. :-)

On a good note, we're hitting quite a few countries in our European Rhino Ride. Here's a list:

Belgium
Holland
Germany
Denmark
Norway
Sweden
Czech Republic
France
Switzerland
Spain
Portugal

With Finland, Italy, and Austria looking to come on-board in the Summer of 2010.

Not bad for a bunch of angry lads roaming the streets of Van Nuys, huh?

Cheers,

Georg

Hola bitches,
Here is Rhino Bucket land things are picking up steam. Seems that last weekend FOX Sports decided to play Rhino Bucket songs during it's NFL broadcasts. Uber Cool! If you're a American Football fan, be sure to tune into  the FOX network this Sunday and lets see if they do it again. On a side note, if you're a European Football fan, then try to catch the Manchester United vs. Manchester City game this Sunday morning. I know I will. We're starting to fill out the October run so keep checking the website to see if we come anywhere near your neck of the woods. Europe is still looming large and we've begun to do press and whatnot, so it should be a blast. If you've got the money, seeing Rhino Bucket on a Friday night in Berlin would be a once-in-a-lifetime event. We're working on a surprise for all of our true believers, and if I can pull it off, then it might a very Merry Christmas after all. Also, there will be a new full length Rhino Bucket album coming out in 2010. Before, during, and after that we will continue to keep on doing gigs as much as we can because, after all, we're just here to rock!

Cheers,

Georg

I want to thank each and every one of you who came out to our shows this past month. We had a great time! It was good to see some old friends and even better to meet some new ones. The band sounded better than ever and I can't wait to get back out on the road! (It's looking like October)

If you're in the Los Angeles area then come see us this Saturday night on the Sunset Strip at the Cat Club. It's right next to the Whiskey A Go Go.

Again, thanks to all of you and we'll see you soon!

Cheers,

Georg

Rhino Bucket is leaving the comfort of home to bring you the baddest, loudest, rock and roll!

Whatever it takes we always deliver so don't miss us if we are anywhere near you!

See you out there.

Cheers,

Georg

Ok then . . . 07/27/2009

Once again the beast that is Rock 'n Roll has risen from it's slumber and fucked up my birthday plans . . .

Rhino Bucket will not be playing in Las Vegas on August 5th. We might still play there in November, although that depends on the tour schedule for the fall. So,if you were going to go, then I apologize the for cancellation and hope that we'll catch you next time. For all the dates of our North American and European tours, just go to our website www.rhinobucket.com

On a completely different note: I think that the game show, "Deal or No Deal" is rigged. I mean come on! No one ever wins the main prize. I swear those briefcases are rigged so that the producers can switch the numbers around as they see fit. Regardless, there should be an oversight committee for game shows just to keep them in line. I should be the head of the committee and they should pay one million dollars for every cheater that I catch. So, if they're all honest, no worries right? I'll send in my application tomorrow and see what they say. I can only assume that if they don't offer me the job then they are all lying sacks of poop who steal from all of us on a daily basis. Lets see what happens.

Check it out my fellow buckets . . .
On August 5th, I will be celebrating my birthday in Las Vegas at:
The Cheyenne Saloon
3103 N. Rancho Dr., Las Vegas, Nevada 89130
Cost: $7.00 Showtime: 10 PM (702) 645-4139

Of course, Rhino Bucket will be performing a full headlining set and the gig will be the kick off for our North American tour. It should be a blast and there is no need to bring presents. Just by showing up you'll be making my birthday one that I'll always remember!

If you can't make it, don't worry, just check out our other tour dates on the website 'cause you all know me . . . I'll be celebrating all month long!

By the way, if you are in the Hollywood area this Friday night and want to see a sneak peak at the band and the new songs and drummer (Tony Biuso), go to the Cat Club. It's right next to the Whiskey. We go on at 10:30 PM and it's only $10.00 at the door.

So, I hope to see you all this summer as we roll out the Rhino for yet another tour. It will be, as always, the stuff of legends!

Cheers,

Georg

I can't believe it is already July! Just another couple of weeks and the Rhino is ready to roll once again. If you want to know the "when and where" go to our website www.rhinobucket.com and check out all the dates so far. August in the USA is looking good and Jan/Feb in Europe is starting to fill up also. If you don't see you town on the list, don't despair, there are more gigs coming. After all, this is what we do the best, play live. I do have to tell all of you that we will be joined this time around, for all of these gigs, by our good friend Tony (Tiny) Biuso. We've done gigs with him before and now we've kidnapped him for the rest of the year and a good chunk of the next. I hoping to also go out in the Oct/Nov time frame and then take a bit of Dec off as we'll need to get ready for the Euro winter gigs. I recommend to bring a lot of Koskenkorva, if you don't know what that is, look it up.

Enough about the band. I must say that the recent media bullshit about the death of Michael Jackson has got my head spinning. Yes, I know, it's sad. Yes, I know, he was talented. But come on, we all know he was not Mother Teresa. Jesus H. Christ, the man was a freak who liked to hang out with kids and have sleep-overs and drink wine out of coke cans. I don't give a fuck how good the Thriller album was, it doesn't matter, bury the guy, give him peace and let it go. When there are soldiers dying (seemingly) everyday in the Middle East, when children are starving to death all over the world, when there so many more important things we could be focused on, it makes me sick to see all the hype that has gone along with MJ and the memorial. By the way folks, he was also a drug addict. No one did this to him. He did it to himself. I really thought it was funny how heartfelt Brooke Shields was during the memorial considering that she has not seen him since something like 1991. Fuck me, this is everything I hate about Los Angeles. I swear to God, if they don't stop talking about this here on the local news, I'm moving the fuck out. Everyday I travel the streets of Los Angeles and see the desperation of people who do not know where they will get their next meal from and yet the city of Los Angeles footed the 3,000,000 dollar tab for the memorial. That is morally disgusting.

We all had such a great time this past weekend! Saw some old friends and met a whole bunch of new ones. I must say that the production teams this weekend were the best I've worked with in a very long time. It's nice when you can hear everything that is going on. We didn't have Brian with us this time but it all worked out as Dave Beeson (Broken Teeth) came on board and rocked the house! If you ever have a chance to see Broken Teeth live, you must go! They rock and they have a new album coming out very soon. Well, I'm a little worn out from the long weekend, Miller Lite and Jim Bean will do that to you, so until next time. KEEP IT LOUD !

Cheers,
Georg

Hola my northern brothers and sisters,
Many of you have written me recently about getting the Bucket to cross the border into Canada and lay some of our rock on you. Well, we'd love to. We really would. But, and I mean no disrespect, your government is a little bit too uptight for the likes of us to ever get there. Some of us have a slightly checkered past and Canada, as a rule, does not want the likes of us soiling the vast forests of the Great White North. I am trying to work it all out as we have so many fine and true friends up there and I do want the band to go there. If any of you have any suggestions as to how we could get the proper permits and permissions, then, by all means, contact me!

On another note, those of you who pre-ordered the new album will be receiving a special password so that you, and only you, can download a special "For your ears only" song that is NOT on the album. The bonus track on the album, "Slip Away", is for everybody. But this new track is only for those of you who helped us so much by pre-ordering! The password will be e-mailed to you and the download will be available on May 5th! You all rule and thank you!

Cheers,

Georg
